Print & Materials
Choosing size and presentation
Pick the photograph first, then choose its size and frame. For a first print, a medium option around 45 × 30 cm is a useful starting point where available: choose print only if you want to arrange your own framing, or natural oak for a warm, simple finish.
Use paper or low-tack tape on your wall to try the listed dimensions before ordering. Step back and look from your usual viewing position. Remember to allow additional space for the frame.
Three measurements to keep separate
- Image area: the photograph itself, excluding any white paper border.
- Paper size: the entire sheet, including any border.
- Outer frame size: the complete framed piece, measured edge to edge.
The size selector names the print-size option, not the outside dimensions of the frame. Borders and mats can change the visible image area. If you are buying for an existing frame or a precise wall space, ask me to confirm all three measurements for your chosen size and finish before ordering. Inch labels are approximate.
For clothing measurements, see the size guide. For delivery and ordering questions, see the ordering FAQ.
Museum-Grade Paper
Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm
Each photograph is produced as a fine-art Giclée print using archival pigment inks and Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm.
Photo Rag is a heavy museum-grade cotton paper with a matte finish and subtle texture. It has almost no glare and gives the photographs a soft, tactile quality while retaining fine detail, smooth gradients and rich blacks.
Its slightly warm, natural white works particularly well with the muted colours, landscapes and softer light found throughout my work.
Other Paper Options
Photo Rag is my preferred choice, but other fine-art papers and finishes are available on request.
If you have a particular paper or finish in mind, get in touch before ordering.
Frames & Mats
Framed prints are available in natural oak, black or white.
The frames are made from sustainably sourced solid wood and finished by hand for a clean, understated presentation. High-quality glazing protects the photograph while keeping the image clear.
Prints are framed without a mat by default for a simple, contemporary look.
A white or black mat can be added on request if you prefer additional space around the photograph and a more traditional gallery-style presentation.
